Bullet numbers don't update automatically

There is a bug in FT with the numbered lists. For example, if I’m using this list:

1. One
2. Three
3. Four

And I want to add an item after number 1, it doesn’t update the numbered items automatically. I get this:

1. One
2. Two
2. Three
3. Four
2

I edited your post so that the problem would show up… your lists were being processed by markdown which automatically fixes that issue.

Anyway this is an issue that I know about. Still trying to decide if I want to add code that will automatically fix this. But in the meantime you can use Format > Lists > Ordered List (Shift-Command-L) to correct this as described here:

Hi, I came here to find a solution to the same problem.

Your manual “Format → Lists → Ordered List” solution works fine!

Please do NOT “fix” this. It shouldn’t be automatic. I like a lot how we can just manually fix the numbers when we want to. Gives us more control. Can you keep it like this?
