I guess one more thing… can you make sure you are using the version freshly downloaded from www.foldingtext.com. That’s what I used for my test… Version 2.2 (770)

Sorry I don’t have much more idea… I know it’s working for others, so I think there must be some setting/state that’s different on your computer and that’s causing the problem. I guess I would try to think about “What setting is different for me” … for example:
- Maybe network conditions are different. Is there a firewall or something like that in effect?
- Maybe international settings (keyboard, etc) … though I don’t know how that would effect this case.
- Custom themes installed? (though that should be accounted for already since you tried from Guest User account.
- Etc…
