# Link to other folding text documents within a ft doc?

Hello,

Can you link to other folding text documents (or other documents in general that live on your computer) from within a folding text document?

You sure can. Using Rob Trew’s tools: [https://github.com/RobTrew/txtquery-tools/tree/master/ftdoc%20url%20scheme%20and%20FTCopyAsURL](https://github.com/RobTrew/txtquery-tools/tree/master/ftdoc%20url%20scheme%20and%20FTCopyAsURL)

You can install the URI handler for FoldingText and use the other AppleScript to copy a link. I have both in my Alfred Workflow to make it easy to use and convient. It is here: [http://customct.com/alfred-2-workflows](http://customct.com/alfred-2-workflows)

It is the FoldingText Workflow. It has many of Rob’s and Mine scripts bundled together.
