(Copy-paste from Github, especially with Applescripts containing any non-ascii characters, can often be prone to character translation glitches and small bits of missed source text.)
Okay. I ended up deleting the plug-ins and reinstalling them. When I did this and reinstalled the smalltime plug-in it’s now reporting an error in the plug-in manager window. Here’s a screen capture of the error:
