I’ve recently starting using the Mac’s Speech feature to help me proof-read my writing.
The default behaviour in most apps when Speech is started is for either the selected text to be read, or if no text is selected then the entire document is read.
But in FT the behaviour is:
• if a short passage of text is selected it works as expected.
• if more than 10 or so lines are selected the voice just says “dash” and stops.
• if no text is selected the you get the error “donk” sound.
I’d be grateful if this could be fixed in a future update. Many thanks.
