Create file name from header when saving a new file

I recently installed FoldingText on a new computer, and I can’t figure out how to set it up so that the file name is automatically created when I save a new file. On my older computer the file name is suggested from the top level header created in the document. Can anyone tell me how this is done?

Thank you,
Dan

Hi Dan,

I just took a quick look to be sure, and it seems to work for me. Can you give us more information on how to reproduce this? Also, please let us know which system you’re running on, and the version of FoldingText.

Thanks!

Hello Mutahhir,

I am running Version 2.2 (770) from the app store. This happens whenever I create a new document on my Macbook Pro (Retina 15 inch, mid 2014) running OS X 10.11.5. I just tried creating a new file with the following text:

Test Document

Wondering about the save behaviour

When I save the file it suggests Untitled as the file name. I have it set up to use .txt as the filename extension. I have Folding Text installed on an older iMac as well, and it always uses the header text to suggest a file name.
